Freedom House is home to 27 children in Croix des Bouquets, Haiti who were restaveks (child slaves) and were living in extreme poverty. Many of these children are from the poverty-stricken village of Laborde, then more were rescued from high-risk situations throughout Haiti. By teaming up with our practice, US Missionaries, and other independent supporters, Freedom house provides a safe and loving place to live where the children receive nutrition and a solid education.

Tracy Kote serves as the Co-Director of the Freedom House and travels to Haiti every three months. She works closely with the staff in Haiti to provide support and guidance in continuing to improve the daily lives of the children as well as preparation for their future.
